Pin position

On a ball that has already been drilled, is there a way to work out the pin position? i.e 3" out, 4" out

I wanted to check what my current balls are to help with deciding what to buy next.

What you first need to do, is measure your PAP (positive axis point)

To do this, trace your inside track line, then place on a spinner and adjust ball till line is quite evenly spinning. Put pencil on top of ball, and that dot is your PAP. Easy

Then, measure distance from the pin to that dot. This is your pin distance.
