phantom leagues in SE QLD

Richlands has one also Runs from mid-year to mid-year. So In a couple of months you can start in the new season. It is called the Ghost League.

can someone please explain to me what a phantom league is?

A Phantom League is one that runs just like an other ordinary league, the only difference is rather than everyone bowling at a set time each week, you get to choose when you come into the centre and bowl.
This is a great type of league for the bowlers who are shift workers, allowing them to come in at anytime and bowl for the week.
Im not sure about anywhere else, but here our Phantom League makes bowlers select a 'Code Name' so you never actually know the identity of the person you are bowling against.

Aspley 10Pin Bowl runs an 'Alias' league which is a phantom league.

There is no confirmed starting date as of yet for the Alias league but it is due to begin around the end of this month.

Call Gloria on Tuesday or Thursday evenings on 3263 8848 and she will be glad to give you all the details you need regarding the league.

Depends on where you live. Mt Warren Lanes (south of Beenleigh) have a popular phantom league - all the cool bowlers are there
