Pepsi ball (non Viz-a-Ball) legal??

Hey guys.

Won this ball earlier this year thanks to Berri Bowland, I can't determine who was the manufacturer. Has a serial number but no USBC stamp.

1) Can anyone tell me who made it? and
2) Is it legal to use in competition?

Picture is attached, just a Paint quick job but you get the idea. Saw a lot around for promo back in the day.

You might like to talk to Glenn Rowland about the ball cause it may the same Pepsi Balls he has in stock at Qubica-AMF.

To the best of my knowledge, in Australia, a ball doesn't require a USBC stamp to be legal.

From TBA Rule Book

RULE 810 BOWLING BALLS MUST BE APPROVED
Only bowling balls that are included on the ABC/WIBC Approved Bowling Ball list may be used in competition. A full list of approved bowling balls is available from www.bowl.com.

I'm not so sure the www.bowl.com link is still active but the current approved ball list can be found here.

In summary, Phluff is right it does not need the USBC stamp but it does need to be on the approved ball list.
