Trotter finished +343 for 12, streaks ahead of his home-state rival Mac Stewart on +209. Queensland's George Frilingos finished in 3rd place, 166 pins over the card.
Trotter bowled his highest game, 278, in the 7th game after a 269 in the third. He has bowled the 2nd and 3rd highest games of the tournament so far, with Steven Eeles' 300 game unbeatable at the top.
Rob Garioch, also of Victoria is currently the 24th qualifier, at 134 pins under the card.
