The first 300 bowled at Moonah since the renovations happened tonight in the first game, by a person that has come closer more times than anyone can remember.

I must say im a bit dissapointed....i havent seen a 300 thrown yet and i was hoping to see the first one sinve the refurbishment......but last night instead of comming in to watch league....i went and played cricket :twisted:

I was there right behind you every shot screaming my heart out for the pins to carry. you have no idea how happy I was to see that final pin fall. as others have said its about time it happened. I mean it has been 29 yrs in the making and finally (in my view) the most deserving guy in bowling has shot one. well done norm we all couldn't be more happier for you

A post by myself in the "IT'S ALL OVER" topic

After a weekend of "testing", it's going to be a very high scoring centre by the looks of it. Once the guys get rid of the teething problems with the machines (adjustments, scoring, electrical) it's going to be unreal. The pins just explode.

I will go out on a limb and say.... less than 1 month till the first 300.

Trust me, it's not hard.... my low 3 game set so far this weekend has been 689.

For the guys that haven't seen the place yet, it'll blow your mind, considering what the place used to be like. Looks modern, lots of room.... you guys are gonna love it.

Did I pick that like a dirty nose or what?
