New League - Matchplay Singles

Hi all,

K&K & Amf Kedron Bowl is pleased to announce 2 new leagues with a twist to start in 2007.
Format as follows:

When: Tuesdays @ 8.30pm
Start: 6th Feb, 2007 (42 weeks)
Cost: $25 per week, 3 games
Format: Matchplay format (same as K&K Classic matchplay), where you play 2 people each week instead of 1.
4 points for a win, 2 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

Total prizefund: Approx $9500 each league (based on 15 bowlers)

We will be running a scratch division and a handicap division, where the handicap division will be run on a 100% of 200 basis.

Only the first 15 names will be taken for each league.

Expressions of interest for both leagues are being taken now via the TotalBowling website, or call Jason at AMF Kedron on 3350-1177.

So how would this be determined? What sort of avg cut off or is it just nominate for which section you wish to play in?

Also a breakdown on the prize fund, Please?

Hi all,

This is the prize fund breakdown for each league:

1st - $1200, 2nd - $1100, 3rd - $1000, 4th - $900, 5th - $800
6th - $750, 7th - $700, 8th - $650, 9th - $600, 10th - $550
11th - $500, 12th - $450, 13th - $400, 14th - $350, 15th - $300.

High game and high series scratch awards for scratch division
High handicap game and handicap series awards for handicap division.

Ideally, it is up to you which league you join, however we would prefer that the 200 average & above bowlers join the scratch, while the 200 and below join the handicap division.

Total prize fund for EACH league is $10,500 (approx)

We have a couple of names down for each league for 2007, with a few others also looking to join.

It is obviously not too late to register for this exciting league. Remember, it is not just your standard 1-on-1, head to head contest. These leagues will be competed in the 3-per-pair Matchplay format, just like the K&K Classic tournament.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel these two leagues due to lack of interest.
Thank you to all who had already put their names down or who had expressed interest.
For those who are still interested in joining a league at AMF Kedron, there are many vacancies available in just about all leagues, including the Youth Classic on Tuesdays and the NEW Thursday Night Trios.
