Most over average for 1 game?

I've bowled 111 over average for one game.
My ave. at the time was 178 and I bowled a 289 game!

Has anyone made 125 over ave.?

I once bowled a 279 game and only had a 166 ave -- 113 over average

wife bowled a 258 on a 146 avg - for a 112 over average. Her name is on the honour board for female score on those 2 lanes....she gets great delight pointing to it whenever we are there too.....

We call that great sandbagging Mr Feral.. hehe j/k mate. Pity it wasn't a 300 game. That would have given you 331 with handicap

Actually it was in a 9 No Tap event. I went front 11 with REAL strikes and left the 5 and 10. Still got a nice TBA plaque out of it though.

289 off a 180 ave (109 over)
300 off a 199 ave (101 over)

247 off a 122, which equals 125 neat. That was 6 years ago, with an old Roto-Star when I was just starting out.

Next best is probably 295 off a 183 = 112, which I did one-handed..
and 298 off a 201 = 97, which I did two-handed..

Highest I had was 100 over - 300 on a 200 average back in 2002.

Once had a bowler shoot a 247 at me with around a 113 average in the Saturday night league about 13 years back.
I had 1 handicap (averaging 201 at the time) and shot my lowest game in league ever - 117.
Needless to say, that was one point I didn't win..lol
