Australia's Maxine Nable felled 4811 pins and averaged 240,55 for twenty games to win the Johnstown Ladies Classic Tour Northeast Classic June 20 at Johnstown's Richland Bowl. The 1998 AMF World Cup Champion outscored 2002 PWBA Player of the Year Michelle Feldman by 25 pins to take home the $1,200 top prize. Both players posted a 5-3 matchplay record, with Feldman earning $900.
Jodi Woessner finished third another 25 pins behind Feldman, followed by Marilyn Lebon in fourth. Rounding out the top 8 players, who reached the match play round were 5. Teri Haefke 6. Jackie Mitskavich 7. Liz Johnson and 8. Terri Bollinger.
Richland Lanes conducted a very successful pro-am event with over 1708 participants. In the three LCT events held thus far, two have been won by Australians. Carol Gianotti won the Lompoc, California LCT event in April.
The next Ladies Classic Tour event will be held at Buffalo Lanes North in Raleigh, NC, July 2-4.
