At the conclusion of squad B, Matt O'Brien of Victoria became the leader of the 2004 Brunswick Youth Cup.
Held at Canberra International Bowl, O'Brien (pictured) completed his 12 qualifying games 133 pins above the card, and 25 pins ahead of Brandon Qualishefski, in 2nd place. Shaun Parlby is only 4 pins further back, sitting comfortably in third after a 287 first game.
The cut is currently -99, Rebecca Allen (ACT) and Matt Sofia (NSW) are equal in that position.
