The future of the Tenpin Bowling show on Channel 31 is at risk unless you stand up for the station (C31) that has returned Ten Pin Bowling to our local screens.
I urge all forum members to visit the following website: http://www.c31.org.au and go to the Downloads page and select the C31 Digital Information Kit PDF.
Briefly: C31 needs the government to grant them a 7MHZ license (the same strength as 9,7,10,ABC & SBS) and some funding to allow the station to simultaneously transmit both digital and analog signals until the phase out of analog TV in 2012.
So make sure you send the letter to the PM via email as asked and make sure you mention you want to be able to watch it even if you are currently a pay TV subscriber and ensure you include a message to C31 that the Ten Pin Bowling show is a major reason you have sent the message to the PM.
If we generate enough feedback we may get them a digital license.
All bowlers regardless of location will then be able to enjoy the show and it just may help ensure its immediate future.
