Innisfail Sugarbowl Lanes
Hi all,
Just a quick post to say that Luke Turner (17 years) from Innisfail Sugarbowl Lanes bowled a 300 yesterday. Although only in practice (dammit) this was only the 3rd 300 to be bowled in the centres 23 year history. Luke has been bowling extremely well of late, inlcuding a 1000 block for four games during league a few weeks back. Keep up the good work Lukey.
The first 300 in the centre was in 2002 when Jessica Starkey (aged 16) bowled a 276 then backed it up with a 300 during the NQ Open Masters. The second by legendary Innisfail veteren Amos Togo in the Intercity fours league in 2004. Jessica and Amos have since been named in the associations Hall of fame.
