Loss of the Edit post function?

I didnt know where to put this really so i will put it in here.

Ive noticed over the last couple of days i cant see the edit function (button) in the posts i make anymore. Ive logged in and back out just in case it was a glitch, but still no good. Is this something that has just recently happened? It's alittle annoying because i have a post i want to edit.

Yes that's correct .. reason why ?

Because some people have taken a liking recently to posting a comment bagging someone of content of a questionable nature. Then it disappears by being edited.

So, think twice before you post. There is no going back once you press enter.

doh! the stuff i wanted to fix up is when i have missed a word in a sentance and it doesnt make sense. Ohh well, ill use word first and then copy into the message.

Cheers for that, i was thinking i was seeing things.

Is it not posible to allow editting for a short period of time (maybe 5 mins to 60 mins) before the edit function is not longer available?

And again its a real shame that 1% of bowlers (members) have messed it up for the other 99%.
