Our first time and Logan City Tenpin and a good weekend was had by all (well nearly all!) - user friendly centre and many thanks to Robert Kearney and staff.
Young Michael Czapp took the honours for the Balls handicap with Brett Flewellen (234.4 hcp) showing good form for his second placing. Michael had a bad start to the Tour but showed some class today with his 237.4 handicap ave. Sean Smith from the Gold Coast was a good third (229.4 hcp) with consistent casher Peter Mifsud taking fourth place. Alan McKay (Mega Air Shelving sponsor) took the final money payout in 26th place. Whew !!!
Darrin Comrie was in a class of his own with a fine 240.7 ave. This bloke could do anything if he got really serious !!! David Greenup (229.8) and Adrian Shelton (229.4) were just not good enough in spite of good scores.
Naturally, Darrin was the Scratch Pool winner with 25 bowlers translating into $500 in the Pool. Good one Tanya again for making some $$$ in the Pool.
Amanda Bowling broke through for her first Twin Tour win (227.9 hcp) from Bek Meads and Alicia Melton. Kayla Janes-Wood once again bowled well and continues some real improvement in her game. Kylie Waddell made 11th and final $$$ place.
Tanya Stevenson continues her dominance of the Puffs Scratch div. with another impressive performance (221.3 scratch) following her 238 ave. last Tour Stop. Running into good form for both Assn. Challenge and Qld. Ladies Classic at the right time.
Thanks once again to the Team who help keep this show on the road and to Total Bowling for giving the bowlers opportunities to nominate and see results. Thanks also this weekend to Bowlers Emporium for the added vouchers. The BOWLERS also deserve big thanks for continuing to support the Tour and to the SEQ Juniors - WE MISSED YOU ALL but well done during the Nats.
