Launceston Masters

just wondering who people think will win the adult masters on the weekend??.....my tip would be myself, but im lucky to get through 4 games without being in serious pain, so my tip will be my good mate hayden george, but its an open field........and with the lane conditions in Launceston very inconsistent, its a pretty much a raffle

Hahah oh my god no body listens to me ... oh thats right I'm a junior! I forgot we're the "Immature" bunch! Haha it's just a pity the suposed "mature" ones dont actually know how to show consideration!

Don't know who'll win, but I won't be there
TIGERS are in the Grand Final against North
Good luck to everyone bowling!

GO TIGERS!!!!!! :D

Kaz, put it down to a difference of opinion mate and from herein if posts are made about tipping tournament winners, just don't read them if it upsets you. :)

That said, my tip would be Mr G Crick (he is due).

I am not quite sure about anyone else, BUT, does anyone know what Kara is on about or am I having trouble reading b/w the lines :?

and for the topics sake, I back the Defending Champ, Androooo. He is in good form lately and did win the SPC spot by a mile. But be warned, its not gonna take me 5 games to line up this time os he had better be on the money! LOL

Cheers

I'm giving the "Kiss of death" to GUS seeing I did'nt pick him in the Tassie Masters and he Won, Ashley, Andrew and Gazza will also Win. Deb will win so will KC and Jackie. Mark might win only if he does'nt fall over, I will win even though I'm not going! and If I don't mention the eventual winner then they will Win.
Good luck to the Winners.
I could'nt pick my nose?.

Maybe you didn't see my other post in the 'who will win state masters'

oh shut up kara! lol nah just jokin sweetie gotta love ya!

but really on a serious note.. i gotta agree wit ya

think bout it guys. you go online, check wat new topics have come up on the website. See something bout a tournie ur in and check it out. If u think u've got a chance, u have confidence. But that confidence is soon shattered once u see no one else sees ur capability.

although u may say people who arent interested in reading topics like this just shouldnt read them.. well curiousity killed the cat.. we're just lucky we're not cats.
We're all curious as to what other people think about us and our capabilities- as much as sum may not want to admit it it's true. offering support to people and wishing them luck is fine, but by making posts on who u think may win is just as good as saying everyone else doesnt have a chance.

Sure, you're encouraged to have an opinion, but when it's downgrading others- keep it to yourself

luv ya kazza!

I can see what you're getting at kara but the picking of winners aint all bad. I can see what you mean by people could take people's opinions the wrong way but it's just an opinion. Opinions mean nothing. If people were saying, oh Adam Reeve is gonna kill everyone in the masters then I'd just use it as motivation to beat him. I'd do my best no matter what people say. So I'm not having a go at anyone here but take opinions and use them as motivation not the negitive side of things.

Peace
Chris

hey
u may say opinions mean nothing but to some people they do. you may take it as motivation but that doesnt mean everyone does.

their opinions are of who they think are capable. if a topic was to get responses on who they thought, and you read each of those responses only to find ur not mentioned.. thats hardly motivation.

Opinions are nothing?? then why is it so important that people voice their opinions about others captablity? why just before every tournament someone has to ask whos gunna win? why is it so important to people

I can see what you mean by people could take people's opinions the wrong way but it's just an opinion.

I put that in my previous post.

I'm just saying that yes I do realise that there is people who can take it the wrong way and I know that there's people like that and that's fine but I'm just saying try to look on the bright side of things and how much the posts can actually help you. I think most people know where I'm coming from. I see both sides of things.

I'm not trying to make any trouble

Peace
Chris

Jess -

While I understand where you and Kara are coming from, the fact of the matter is if you don't want to read something, nothing is making you. From Mark's original post in this thread, it is plainly obvious what the subject was and so after reading his post, a person would be able to a choice whether to read on or not.
Surely the temptation for anyone to read a bunch of moolies like us dribble on about who we think MIGHT win even though it might affect your game can't be that strong!

Kassey.
