HOWDY

i have only one thing to say
i have heard about the selections for the womens national team and i think it ****s how some people have been overlooked, not going to mention any names. that is all i am going to say and i hate to put bad light on cara's win and her 300, but i think it should be known that some poeple will now have lost faith in the NTS selection

Hello again,

I dont know who was selected and that, but its pointless whinging now, the selectors obviously thought that the bowlers were selected could do the job well.

But there is always a few people who have a good old whinge when it comes to people getting selected.

Hello I have heard a lot about this site and thought I would pay a visit.

Some interesting topics and posts.

I am interested to hear about what the thoughts are on the selection of the FIQ team. Does anyone know how the decision was made?

There is a few girls that look as though they have been overlooked (Maybe Sydney and I think alike!), is there a reason for this?

Look forward to seeing some responses.

Congratulations to all those successful
Good bowling
Boomerang!!

Our congratulations to "DE-BOR-AH'S FIRST-BORN", little Michelle Halprin, on finishing 4th in Adelaide...we are sorry that it apparently wasn't enough to get you selected for FIQ, but considering the calibre and experience of the bowlers you were up against, you should be very proud of yourself, we are!!!!!
Well done

Boomerang,

The format was top three on points after qualifying and three selected from the National Training Squad.

The Women's FIQ Team this year is a talented one and the reasons they were chosen was that most of them have been there done that. Brought home the GOLD!

Ann-Maree Putney - A World Champion
Amanda Bradley - A World Champion
Sue Cassell - Numerous FIQ Medals and is also a champion
Debbie Baldock - Past FIQ Team Member
Kate Wilton - NSW State Rep and is very talented and has the youth on her side.
Cathy Elwell - Qld Rep and is also young and talented.

Four of the women have had experience at the World level and for them to be in the FIQ Team is essential to pass on the knowledge and teach the youth about the FIQ level of the game.

I believe these are the reasons for others to be overlooked. There is alot of talented bowlers in this country and we all can't represent Australia at FIQ at the same time.

CONGRATULATIONS & LOTS OF LOVE TO PUSS (Cathy Elwell) SEE I TOLD YOU THAT SMILE WOULD WORK WONDERS - YOU FINALLY HAVE THE CHANCE TO SHOW THE WORLD PUSS. WE KNEW YOU COULD DO IT ALL ALONG.
Much Love & Kisses - Your OTHER Family
