For anyone who likes Killswitch Engage or Heavy Metalcore type music you HAVE to get the new KsE album As Daylight Dies.

It has all the normal trademarks of fast intense riffs, skull crushing drumming, menacing growls as well as some amazingly melodic singing.

Seriously these guys make bands like System of a Down look like the Muppets on Speed!!:D

Do yourself a favour and check them out, if you liked Alive or Just Breathing and End of the Heartache you will loved this CD.

Picked up the CD on the weekend. Didn't even realise it was out til I walked past it at JBs.

First impression of it is a good one, however there's still room for it grow on me too. It's brutal and melodic at the same time. The singer's voice is more like an extra instrument instead of just a vocalist. Hasn't left the cd player in the car since Saturday.

End Of Heartache is still my fave of theirs. Still waiting for something to top the first 10 or 15 seconds of "When Darkness Falls". Was disappointed to not see them when they were over here last month. Got told it was a pretty awesome show.

Hopefully it won't be too long til they're back out here touring again.
 
kill switch are one of my favs but i havnt heard this new album yet.. and judging from my liking of alive or just breathing this album is sure to tickle my fancy.. Thanks for the heads up!!
 
got an advanced copy of this from one of the guys from Parkway Drive (well it was given to a friend then given to me)

I like it, its a really good album
