I would like to congratulate the entire Forest Hill Junior shield team on an outstanding effort. The should be proud of the result in both the Boy’s and Girl’s Divisions
Special mention goes to Chris Castle for making the All Star team. Well done Chris!!!
To all the other teams that participated well done, it was yet another great junior shield and it’s good to see so many talented upcoming junior bowlers. And great to see so many Adult shield bowlers there to support them.

Northcote full of champions :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: , until they piss them off and they leave. SO MANY PEOPLE believe there needs to be serious consideration with choosing managers for northcote next year, there may be no bowlers left...

CHARLOTTE - i am also ashamed to call myself a nothcote girl after what some of my team did today to Andrew Tonkin... you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.. you all really surprised me the way that you acted today...
Some of the people on the team paying out my sister was really immature and uncalled for.. you girls really surprised me and i thought you were all nicer then that... we all know emileigh is a stong person and wouldnt cry about a stupid thing like Katie.. I know that you guys can be really good people... but today i was really disspointed!!
Anyway, apart from that it was a great weekend... and congrats to keon park!

I can not believe what I'm reading on these posts. This is NOT the place to bag people that you think might be tossers or you may not like as managers.

Strive to be your best for yourself, for your team and most of all for YOUR sport.
Be a good sport.
Play for the fun of it.
Treat other players and officials the same as you would like to be treated.
Thats just a couple, anyone got some more.

Not like Shaun, Lisa beat him home on the weekend :wink: and she let him know about it.

Well what a weekend!
I'd like to congratulate all the winners and all the girls and boys who made the all stars team!
Keon Parks yet again the team to beat, broinia boys did a great job to fight thekeon park boys off!
I am very proud of the efforts that the Dandy girls made, never in our wildest dreams did we think we'd come 5th....after placing near the bottom for so long! A special congrats to Micheal Pace from Dandy on makin the all stars team!
I thought Andrew Tonkin's attitude was a little cocky and at times rude...He and I had a bit of a "tiff".... However i don't think he deserved to be sledged in the presentations....He can clearly bowl and is good at it...
I also thought that the attitudes of some of the managers (Sunshine) were uncalled for...
All in all the weekend was great....

Until there is any proof that he has done anything wrong then I would have to say that Andrew Tonkin was one of the nicest people at shield.
