The Sauce High-Performance Series features a brand new Contrusion core shape, paired with one of our new Hammer Aggressive Edge coverstocks.
Hammer’s new Contrusion core features a conical base shape with a protrusion offset that gives bowlers a low mass bias, non-symmetric shape for great backend movement without sacrificing breakpoint control, and
gives bowlers incredible control with unmatched power at the pins.
Also, Hammer’s developed a new series of Aggressive Edge Coverstock formulations designed specifically for our Contrusion core shape. The Aggressive Edge family of coverstocks are the most aggressive covers EVER put on Hammer bowling balls!
For the first time, Hammer is introducing a 3-color bowling ball in the high-performance category. The Sauce looks fantastic on the shelf, and even better on the lane. We’ve also gone back to a more simplified drilling system. Pro shops can use a simple symmetric drill pattern and get great results from this new piece.
Most importantly, the reaction characteristics of The Sauce are certainly unique. For the first time, we’re now able to offer bowlers the best 1-2 punch in the industry with regards to ball reactions. The Sauce offers the best combination of power and control ever produced in a Hammer ball.
