Apple has released OS 3.0 for the iPhone.

Finally we have 'MMS' and 'cut and paste' functionality!!!!

A voice notes application has been wanting also!

Can be downloaded (230.1 MB) and updated via iTune 8.2.

I downloaded it at 1am this morning works perfectly. Shame on Optus trying to charge their customers $9.90 a month for tethering when they are already paying for the data!!

From what I understand, vodafone is the only carrier allowing tethering at the moment. I downloaded it yesterday. I gotta say it is really something but at the same time it is what should have been there to begin with. The video only works on the 3GS which is coming out the 26th. My favourite function is the searchlight which you access by flicking left from the home page and you can search your iphone for anything from any application. Very useful. The function for losing the phone and tracking it down i think is genius as well.

Cannot wait to get my hands on the new 3GS and to unlock it too
