Anyone else using Ad-aware to scan for spyware?
It seems the scanning process is taking much longer these days.
Is there a freeware alternative to Ad-aware that will do the same job, but faster?

Thanks Mickey am trying it now. Seems to be considerably faster than Ad-aware and gives a lot more information.
What I need now is something to make the forum links a bit quicker. They seem to have slowed down a lot recently.

I use ad-ware .. but i only just got it when i got my new computer .. everytime i scan i get "tracking cookies" and some other thing haha i can't remember what it's called .. is this normal?? :roll:

Ad-aware has a huge database of known spyware. It searches everything from cookies to temp files.

I use spy bot search and destroy because its alot more thorough(spelling?)

Friend of ours has finally traced her problems to this mailing system. Her computer has been down and out for a week. There are now even dedicated articles telling you how to completely un-install it.
