yeah number of times. one last night. but generally i add the 7 pin.

the score card looks good with 4.

generally it reads 44 for the frame

I dont think ive ever left that split, if you watch it he leaves the 3-6-10-9-8 which is rather bazaar to me, i think most people would be mistaking the 8 pin for the 6 pin which is rather common to crankers... then again i could be wrong...

The relatively common one crankers leave is the greek church plus the #3, ie 3,4,6,7,9,10. The one he leaves there is the 3,4,6,9,10. If he left the #8 instead of the #4, there would nowhere for the ball to go. It doesnt fit between the #8 and #9.

Ummm, unless the pins are badly offspot, which could be the case too :p

Good pickup, that is a 3-6-8-9-10 split.

Originally I thought it was a 4-pin too when I saw it the first few times, but that's definately an 8-pin.
I've left the 3-6-7-8-10 before a long time ago, but never seen one like that!

Yep, definitely something off spot somewhere, my pic would be either the 8 or 9 for the ball to go between them and miss them both.

I've seen something similar happen before - I was watching a bowler bowl a few years back, on one frame he went brooklyn and left the 5 and 6. The spare shot went clear between these 2 pins, and left them both standing. Needless to say the bowler was slightly miffed - he'd done everything he though he should have done.

Used to be a common occurrence up in Devonport.
Mike Pope left the 9-10 up there one year and went between them without touching either pin, I went through the beak in a State Masters one year and left a 2-3-6-10, saw Matt Burtt take the 9-pin clean out from between the 3-10 one year in Shield trials.
Even at Rachuig trials last year on one pair at least, a light hit for a righty would leave the 6-10, or even 6-7 or sometimes worse.
Pretty tough.

I saw another strange leave in league the other night - the 1-2-3-5-9-10 was left. Yes the ball took out the 4-7-8 in the left corner AND the 6 pin by itself.

What actually happened was the ball took the 7 pin clean as a whistle, which bounced back off the curtain to take the 8 pin. The 7 pin then went on to take the 4 pin whilst the 8 pin fell inbetween the 5 and the 9 to knock the 6 pin into the gutter.

Talk about freakish!!

I have 3 really nice ones. I have taken the 6,9 out of full deck and also the 4,8 out of full deck (bowling right handed front right to let) and the cream of the lot I took the 3,5,8 out of the full deck.

yeah i took the 6 9 out of the deck, then put the ball therough the gap (aiming to, was in practise) was hillarious..

i also hit the pocket and left the full rack, 15lb ball at about 20kays. the machine was not down, i / the people i was bowling with could not see from the foul line what was holding the pins. no one ever belives me except the 3 people that also saw it.
