Guiness Book Of Records ? Anyone verify

Found this item on ebay .. it states :

this is the bowling ball used to gain entry into the Guiness Book of Records for Ten Pin Bowling for the longest time. The ball is signed by record holder Mike Rollens.

I can verify that yes, Mike Rollens did bowl for the longest time recorded, in 2003 around Easter time, starting on Good Friday. I can't confirm that the pictured ball was used, but the record is authentic.

Hey Graham,

I can confirm that indeed Mike Rollens does hold the record. The record was achieved at Bowland Cranbourne and it went for 50 hours non-stop continuous bowling. It sure was one huge effort upon which Mike raised some very valuable money towards the Royal Children's Hospital.

I had the privialge of being there when Mike did achieve the record and it was certainly a great effort..I have also had the privilage of meeting Mike and he deserves all the recognition that comes with this achievement..
