Hi All.
I would like to say good bye to the Thursday Doubles at Fairlanes which we bowled our last night ever last night.
I would like to say thanks to Fairlanes and all the members of the league for all the great years of bowling and wish you all the best next year where ever you may end up.
There has been many highlights this year, Mitch with his two 300's being the best but many more.
I would also like to thank Toni for being my partner for the last 4 years and helping us win 4 in a row

One of the Best leagues to ever run, back in the day was 24@2 with a waiting list of some seasons maybe 10more teams

In fact the the waiting list from this league and the Monday Mixed Doubles, is how the POT SHOT Doubles came about

Some great moments from that league too many to mention

3way rolloffs for first was if not a yearly thing but certainly every other year (league played 2seasons/yr back then 23weeks)

so where to now Vinnie

Monday Mixed bowled their final games at Fairlanes bout 2 - 3 weeks ago and have reformed with 14 teams at Cannington last week.

With 4 300 games at Cannignton in as many weeks, it was the obvious choice LOL

No seriously.....The league is the same but its not the same not being at City.

69 Days till Fairlanes City closes its doors for the Final Time.
