I've nearly had something like that happen to me.

I was working at the back of a lane, service light was ON, the ball was spinning on the ball wheel and someone bowled a ball down and it smashed into the curtain and came straight onto my right hand.
Hurt like a M'fer.

Went to get up the guy for bowling but he'd dissappeared.

that happened once in ID...

We were at Mt Druitt bowl, and had an off-spot, the lane tech was called and fixed the machine, the sweep came up and the lane looked clear, so one of my team mates bowled for the spare that he re-spotted, and hit the pin into the techs hand and broke it.

it was the techs fault, which he admitted, for putting the sweep up and turning the lane back on before he was clear of the machine.

Happened to the ex head tech at my centre....but now that I'm he, sweep comes down every time


Because many bowlers are morons.
