Flights from Melb for Arafura in Darwin

For anyone thinking of flying to Darwin for Arafura in May, Tiger airlines have a sale on at the moment. There is a 8.15pm fri night flight which lands at midnight fri night and a 12.30am mon morning flight home which lands at tullamarine at 5.15 am mon morning....flights plus $50 each way for 25kg baggage and credit card fee comes in at $272. Virginblue also have flights...the best they have at the moment is 1.45am fri morning for $139 which includes 23kg baggage(28kg for sporting equip) and 6.55pm sun night coming home for $189 including baggage, plus $9 credit card charge. Last year we flew Virginblue for about $330 return so both options above arent bad but at $272 on Tiger its hard to knock back if your thinking of going.
