My long suffering wife, Adele got me to do my rescue and immediate care certification with WIRES recently. I've always thought it was a good thing to do, so went along as she often knows me better than I do.
Well, she's right again. Here's a photo of mother and Baby possum we rescued. They look like they're going to make it too.
If you've ever thought about doing this, it can be tough. But I have got such s buzz from it, I'd say give it a go.
