There is no unofficial practice in the Centro Nacional de Bowling Mampote in Caracas, Venezuela, prior to the Opening Ceremony this afternoon. None of the bowlers and not even most the officials and the press had a chance to get a look at the fully refurbished 40-laner.
Until now. You are the first to get an early look at the interior of the Mampote center.
Jim Porter, the Technical Delegate, says that the first 20 lanes look ready to go, and the rest of the lanes are coming along very well. We should expect to have all of them available for competition on Monday. We will be back with (hopefully) more good news later. Stay tuned!
