At the end of the day, Jimmy is just doing what we can with the gear that's on offer and the lane conditions that are on offer.
I completely agree with Steve though, as usual.
15 or so years ago when I was starting and bowled in a centre that had a "fair condition", a 300 was bowled every 4 or so years. When I bowled my first 200 and after lots of hardwork in a centre where the best bowlers I had seen averaged 188 or so.
Many years later I threw my first 300 in the same centre, being the biggest achievement of my life. For me, having 900's bowled, just makes me think I really wasn't even that good to bowl a 300. If a 17 year old can bowl 3 in a row, is it really an achievement?
It's not the kids fault, he is just doing what he can on what he is given.
