"Farewell to Greenslopes" Skins tournament

Hi Everybody,

As a majority of you may already be aware, Greenslopes Lanes will be closing its doors on August 15.

With this in mind, I'll be running a Farewell Skins tournament, the last tournament ever to be held at Greenslopes.

I only have minimal details at this stage, but will confirm more by the end of the week.

To be held Friday 13th August, check-in 11pm. Entry fee will be around $110-$125, 10 games of bowling. Scratch and handicap skin payouts every game.

I am also looking to obtain some sponsorship for the event, so if you would like to help one final time, then I'm happy to have a chat.

Payouts based on 30 bowlers:
* Highest game with handicap - $125 per game
* 2nd with handicap - $55 per game
* High scratch game bonus - $50 per game

There will also be a Tea & Coffee station set up for all bowlers to used throughout the evening/morning.

There may be some extra payouts for some bonus awards, I am just waiting to confirm for sponsorship for the event, so if you would like to help one final time, then I'm happy to have a chat.

Hi all,

I have decided after much thought to change a few details for this tournament.

We have dropped the entry fee to make it a little bit mroe affordable to bowl, but at the same time, had to change the prize fund payouts.

Entry fee is now $100 (still 10 games)

Skins payouts are now as follows (still based on 30 bowlers):
* 1st each game on handicap pinfall - $100
* 2nd each game on handicap pinfall - $50

At this stage, there will be NO scratch skin payouts.

Handicaps will be based on 80% of 220.

As this stage, we have about 12-15 bowlers already looking to bowl

Tomorrow night's the big night. I can't wait!
