ESPN - World Poker Championships

I know a few guys at league who play poker online at www.pokerroom.com and who follow the series. I am pretty hooked and watching some pros and well as some clowns battle it out for $2,000,000 US 1st prize.

Anyone knows who wins this years series?

your kidding??? There is poker on ESPN? oh god no. I'm waiting for the whole chess thing now... What ever happnd to the PBA being on ESPN???? I know that they had the PWBA, and its been cancelled until next year, but wot about the PBA??


$2mil is alot for a card game...

Better not come to QLD, there are some bowlers who take cards very seriously in these neck of the woods. Wouldn't want you to get hurt for making silly comments like that.

Maybe we need to get all these foreigners around for a game of Manillan next time they are in town George. Then they will understand why it is worthy of ESPN coverage.
