BRISBANE (April 7, 2017) – Organisers of the Queensland Junior Cup today released the official Entry form for this popular event which will be held at Strathpine Hyperbowl on the weekend of 22-23 July 2017.
Moreton Bay Regional Council has this year partnered with TBAQ to help host the 2017 QJC in the Moreton Bay Region. Council’s Sports and Recreation spokesperson, Councillor Darren Grimwade said it was part of Council’s $32.5 million investment towards generating diverse sport, park and recreation opportunities in 2016/17.
Open to TBA-registered bowlers 18 years and under, participation in this nationally ranked tournament has almost doubled each year since the inaugural event in 2015. Exploring the beautiful scenery and natural assets of the Moreton Bay region will be a further drawcard for players and their families travelling from all around Australia.
The 2017 QJC offers a prize pool of over $12,000, plus an exciting bonus of international flights for the top place-getters. In addition to $1,000 in prizemoney, the winners of both the male and female divisions of the tournament will receive return tickets for two to fly from the Gold Coast to Singapore courtesy of award-winning airline SCOOT.
TBAQ’s travel partner EUROPCAR and STORM’s BPD Bowling Australia are also providing prizes and special discounts for QJC participants.
