End Of an Era

Im on the verdge of the end of an era, high school and I wanted to point out how hilarious it can be when you miss place something critical right at the last minute that you have to hand in say the very next day or next week.....I just had one of those nights. I had to hand in a Work Studies assignment which was due tomorro and I missed placed my work studies file......still cant find it for that matter, then my mother came up with the idea " is it still on the computer" LOL stupid me forgot to look there....sure enough there was the assignment ready to go.


Has anyone else, who has graduated or is in high school got any funny stories they wish to share on this, would love to here them!

Well...after graduating from High School about 4 weeks ago...I feel I fit the criteria to post here.
In year 8 we had to do a project/assesment thing on an endangered species. Id forgotten all bout it until the day before when the teacher (who already didnt like me) had pleasently reminded us all that it was due.
I went home that night wondering what the hell I was going to do...I searched the highs and lows of my room, and discovered a magazine with a huge article on Pandas, which happened to be an endangered species. So instead of typing it up on the computer (which would have been the smarter way...), I just cut it out, added some pics and handed it in like that...the day came when the teacher was handing them back...I copped a lecture on how much of a lazy student I was and stuff like that...
But that was back when I didnt take school seriously...I am far more mature now...;)

Gee, who would have thunk that hahaha

Umm, the only thing that comes to mind was this Geography assignment we had to do in Yr11 about "weather patterns in perth over the last 100years". Didn't finish it til the period before it was due, started it only 2 days beforehand too (16 pages!).

The best part about it was I got my highest mark for an assignment ever (59.5 out of 60). Got weird looks because a) I was currently only just passing the subject (51%) and b) the other guys at school didn't believe I did it in 2 days. (I thought the assignment was pretty crap when reading over it before handing it in)...

umm, thats about it... prefer not to remember much about those years!
 
I finished year 12 last year and it's a pretty insane feeling. High school is soooo over rated though compared to uni!!!
