Doubles Tournament

Hi All,

ELIZABETH BOWLAND will be holding a doubles tournament on Sunday, 15th May 2005. The tournament is open to any bowler who holds a current league average at any centre. Scores are handicapped at 80% of 200 based on current league average.

All doubles teams will bowl 6 games qualifying, with the top 4 teams progressing to the stepladder final.

Check in 10am for a 10:30am start.
Entry fee is $100 per team
$500 first prize guaranteed
1 in 4 pay out based on 20 entries

Only the FIRST 20 ENTRIES will be accepted!

I will be accepting entries on this forum, or interest can be registered by phoning the bowl on 8252 0488. Entry forms can also be collected at the centre.

This tournament is filling fast, so make sure you get your entries in soon.

Congratulations to Andrew Granfield and Barry Pappin on winning the 2005 Elizabeth Bowland Doubles Classic. The pair led all day and just hung on in the final. Well done to the boys from marion on their close second placing.

it was a great day, with the top 4 not decided until the final game of qualifying. it was also great to see most people stay and watch the stepladder final.

thanks to everyone for competing, hope to see you all future tournaments.
