Davy says " I'M A BELIEVER " one more time!

Bowling Tragic
Davy refused to Monkee around this weekend during the Cannington Classic.

Then he saw first place, now I'm a believer.
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.

In the end, it was Davy's competitors who were left waiting for the Last Train to Clarksville

Just wondering if the jockey forgot to whip those Qld stallions down the home straight. Looks like the left side of the track made for pretty good running though, but just like true Melbourne Cup champions on the first Tues in Nov you need to be a stayer not a front runner!!!

Well done Brenton Davy for winning. :D :D :D
Better luck next time Trotts we Victorians are still proud of you!!!!
:) :) :)

Thanks guys. Its been a long time between drinks (and didnt I make up for lost time tonite LOL). I must say tho, I was very impressed with Luke Dick and his ability to remain impervious to the pressure of the situation. He certainly didnt lose the tournament and he can be very proud of his achievement.

Thanks to everyone involved with the event, and to Stax and his family for putting up with me for the weekend and I will be back for the Perth Cup

I must say a big congrats to Brenton as he certainly bowled well all weekend and really pulled out the huge games when needed. And winning it on the last ball of the day... no one could have even dreamt of a better finish after the 31 games we bowled as it was exciting and tense for both the bowlers and the crowd going into the final game.

You certainly deserved the win Brenton as it has been a long time between drinks. See you at Perth Cup later in the year.

And also a big thank you to Paul Wademan and all the staff and sponsors who made this tournament such a great event and was smoothly ran all weekend.
