Sadly tonight due to the impossible situation now with car parking at Chadstone Shopping Centre my league, "The Pacesetters League" voted to relocate and start bowling at Clayton effective from next Tuesday night.
With the late league, "Major League" bowling for the last time at Chadstone last Tuesday night, no Tuesday night leagues will be bowling at Chadstone for the first time since possibly when the original centre opened in 1964 for the last three Tuesdays the centre is open.
Those who don't know AMF Chadstone Bowl will close its doors for the last time on Sunday October 5th. It is just over 50 years since the original centre located under the original Myers store was opened. Sadly it seems the Neanderthals that own Chadstone Shopping Centre don't think there is room for a bowling centre at Chadstone anymore. No loyalty to long term tenants in fact it appears they do not give a s*** about us long term customers of the shopping centre at all.
Thus I call all genuine bowlers to boycott Chadstone Shopping Centre at least until they come to their senses and again entertain AMF as a tenant again. Make sure they know of your actions by sending them an email voicing your disgust at the way you, who have been long term customers of this centre have been treated.
