Just wanna say congratulations to Ben McLoughlin who threw a 300 game in practice today at Cannington.

Not bad for a 14 year old whose only been bowling for just over a year.

Gotta say it is a fabulous feeling, although some people tell me it was only in practice, it doesn't really matter to me, because i now know that i've done it, i know i can do it again! As they say in tha movies, "I've been there, and done that" So now i'm happy and proud! Plus, that was with a ball that i've hardly used! Just goes to show that you don't need high-tech gear to bowl decent results!

I know it was "only practice" but you getup there having bowled 11, and tell me there,s no pressure.

No sweat,we easily worked it out, we had three or four people we expected "its only practice " from , and Ice Maiden makes the third person, only one to go ?????????????? Its pretty poor when some people are bagging someone about bowling one, when they have never done it themselves, or when they've never even been near the achievement! Pardon me for being happy!

congrats on the feat anyway. its always a tough feat to achieve, practice or no practice... especially at 14

its nice to see the amount of training you have been doing over these last 12 to 18 months is paying off for you.
its a shame i didn't see it personally as i'm absolutely sure it would have been a great game to witness. what you have done is something that some people may never do in their lifetime.

Hey Lil Bennny Boy,

Just wanted to say congratulations on a job well done. Don't worry if people say u have a big head u don't!! I wish i had a 300 under my belt and as i said to u yesterday I'M JELOUS. It took me till i was 16 till i bowled my 299 and **** i wish that last pin had fallen!

Once again CONGRATULATIONS thats a GREAT Achievement at 14 buddy and for only bowling for over a year well...... too good

whether its practice or not u have still done it ben, well done. thats quite an achievement for someone so young who has been bowling such a short time.

it doesnt make a difference whether u r bowling one in a league, practice or a tournament, u still get the same nerves and feelings. if u do it in practise it just means u know u can do it and gives u that bit of extra confidence when it 'does mean something'.

all i can say is well done ben.

I'm sorry if i offended you Ben. i do have to admit, i am jelous of you for doing it before me. Watching you bowl in the past few days has made me realise that you are bowling well and that you did deserve it. i've seen you be so close to doing it again twice.
