I am using Outlook for my mail and I have a shortcut on the desktop which I have set to open the inbox folder.
Is there any way I can create a second shortcut which will open the contacts folder?

Cant you just have your contacts folder opening in your outlook.
(View>Layout)
Or are you trying to open your contacts folder as a seperate item?

Ok its been a long time since i've used outlook, coz im more leaning towards Outlook Express but...

I remember i used to do something like that when i did use Outlook

www.google.com try searching for something like Outlook shortcut customization, there are a lot of really in depth guides on prgorams like that

Hi Stax, yeah I wanted 2 separate shortcuts. Micky actually solved it - there is a very comprehensive tutorial on Outlook which I found after he suggested using Google.
Anyway by dragging from one tool bar to another several times it eventually worked.
