Congratulations to Lexi Nicoll and Stephen Cowland for their wins in the Open Masters. It was a very hard fought contest with 17 girls and 32 boys competing for a 16 person double elimination final. Full results below:

Girls Open Masters

1. Lexi Nicoll (ave. 181)
2. Lysa Harrison (ave. 169)
3. Jessica Lawrence (ave. 187)

Boys Open Masters

1. Stephen Cowland (ave. 223)
2. Matthew Sing (ave. 212)
3. Curtis McNamara (ave. 195)

A special mention must go to Matthew Sing who on Sunday broke the Open Boys All Events Record. Trent Cage's 2 year old record of 1976 was smashed when Matthew bowled 3 straight 700 series for an All Events total of 2122.

A big congrats to all of you but especially to Lexi its been awesome seeing you really come up in your bowling over the past year and its good to see all of your hard work and training coming into effect just before nationals top effort lex and you really deserve it.

Congratulations to everyone who bowled over the w/e. There was some great bowling going on.
Well Done to Lexi and Cow for winning the Open Masters. They bowled really really well on Monday and deserved it. Congratulatons to Lysa, Matt, Jess and Curtis for placing as well.

Congratulations to the winners and placegetters. A big well done to Georgya Britton for winning the restricted masters. She is the perfect example of 'its not the size of the bowler, but the size of the fight of the bowler'. The condition was not easy at all, and good shot making was required. The winners truly deserved their crowns. Well done
