Local youth bowler Chris Barratt has qualified first in the 2005 Cannington Classic here at AMF Cannington Lanes.
Barratt shot impressive games in his qualifying squad, including a 279, 262 an 244 on his way to finishing 253 above the card. (2653 pins)
Mike Muir, of WA, qualified 2nd on 2596 with Luke Dick, also of WA in 3rd on 2592.
The cut at 16th was held by Steve Johnstone, another West Australian bowler on 2374 pins.
