Cannon Hill Results

1st Carl Bottomly +kabillion
2nd John Willians +61
3rd Hamster +60

didnt get a sheet, I finished a dissappointing 7th :(

I am sure will post the results, low cash 30th was 184.

Good turn up for the event with 60 bowlers making the trip to the new look centre. Lanes were tough, Carl just out bowled everyone. Thanks to AMF and the generous sponsors who sponsored the event. Looking forward to the new look "PBA style" Brisbane Cup.

Full results from the weekend : Congratulations Carl, who seems to be in great form at the moment.

Graham,
from what we saw, the event seemed to be well organised, there were no lane breakdowns, and despite there being 2 to a lane in the second squad, the pace was good.
However, it would have been nice if ALL the bowlers who cashed could have had their money, be it in cash or cheque, at the presentation at the end :( ...and not just the top 14. Surely for a "oncer", AMF could have allowed the centre to either have a little excess cash in the safe, or better still, someone could have signed the 30 cheques required for placegetters, and they could have been filled out once the results were known. This is, of course, just my opinion, but it seems only fair that if you have to pay to enter, and you are lucky enough to cash, then you should be able to take payment home with you at the end of the day, and not told that your cheque is in the mail. Mary has over a 100 bowlers in her tournies, and nobody waits for payment there!!!!

but like I said, just my opinion. That aside, it was still a good tournie to watch.

Hi Broni

I think that the cheque situation was partly my fault, in the fact that I forgot to organise a cheque book to allow payment. I didnt find out about this till last night, so to all bowlers apologies for that. I will make sure that the cheques get sent ASAP.
