Can someone tell me if 300 game ever bowled at Box Hill.

Hi guys,
Am just wondering if any of our great STATISTICIANS here can tell me if anyone ever bowled 300 game at Box Hill ( not practice game )

Yes Amos Tan did bowl one there but it was in practice on the 30th of December 2003

Yea Buzzer and Chris it's true Amos did bowl 300 at practice.I even asked the staff at Box Hill noone seems to know.I want to bowl my 300 before they close down in Dec :rofl:

didn't realise it was only practice all I remember was a newspaper article on him acheiving this goal at Box Hill and thought it must of been in league or something. oh well.

Was Amos in the newspaper for bowling 300 in practice game imagine how famous i will be when i bowl my real 300 in the league.

Buddy ol pal o mine Amos' was in practice on 13 & 14 i believe.
I also believe that there have been 2 300's bowled at box hill. both in tournaments (so they would be sanctioned) and i believe 1 was on 1 & 2 and the other was on 23 & 24.
Mike Kenedy bowled the one on 1 & 2.

Sorry to destroy your dreams of being the first person to bowl one at box hill Alex!
Looks like i'll have to be the first female to bowl one at box hill!
I'll have to get cracking if i wanna do it before we close!

My brother Raymond Silva bowled a 300 in the MTBA championships in 1990.

It was on lane 23-24 on the 7th of July at 12:53 pm in 4 man teams.

8 solid brooklens in arrow and then buried the last four in the pocket.

According to the ATBC/TBA records John is the only bowler to have a recognised (sanctioned or accredited) 300 game bowled at Box Hill.

Leo i dunno what u have to do cause i never saw it in the news letter so yeh have no clue. i was in the news letter last yr for my 298 at chadstone which come to mind has anyone bowled higher then i 298 in league if so post plz if not i still have the highest game in league but leo that night at chaddy u should of had that in the bag except for the stupid 10 pin i think it was a 10 pin but leo can help me out on that.

Yeah, your 298 is still the highest. Ive bolwed 2 279's and a 280 and as you asaid, it has always been the 10 pin that has stopped my run. Maybe its a race to be the first OFFICIAL one at Chaddy...
