CABOOLTURE RESULTS - 31st May/1st June

Attaching amended results: on checking results today, our guru discovered an error in Balls hcp.div. which has now been corrected ..... apologies but all prize money as paid will stand.

Sean Smith from the Gold Coast was the Balls hcp. winner from 'oldies but goodies' Gary Bernardin and Joe Gatt. Darryl Alford put in a great performance to finish in 4th place in hcp. as well as taking out Scratch div. with 233.5 ave. and also the Scratch Pool. Fast improving Patrick Rahilly had a great 5th place to be among a lot of young bowlers who cashed along with the veterans of the Tour.
Brendan Meads and Dale Stewart followed Darryl in the Scratch div. with Steven Armstrong 'a youngie' among the predominately more mature (ie. over 20 yrs.) contenders in the Scratch divison.
Another promising bowler of the future, Katie Kroehnert finished the champion of the Puffs with newcome Paige Ashby frpm Ipswich showing great talent. Naturally, the 3rd place winner Mary Flower fully deserved her placing !!!!! Good to see Broni Morgan in the money also at her first major outing for a while.
Tanya Stevenson also a Gold Coaster absolutely dominated in the Puffs Scr. with her 224.0 ave. and also took a third in the Scratch Pool. Debbie Stewart was excited to make the payout also in the Scr.div.
Once again, a successfull and happy weekend (for most, I hope!) and thanks must go once again to Caboolture Bowl for their continued support and sponsorship and to the TEAM (without Gladys!) who also continue to put in their free time to help. To those who continue to support the Tour, Thank You! and thanks also to those who take the time to notify that they cannot attend ... much appreciated. Not sure about thanking the guru who found the boo boo but good to see that justice is done !!
