Bowling after surgery.

Has any bowler in here ever had a hernia operation (in the groin)?
I have just had one and feeling a bit sore and tired.
Just wondering how long should I wait before bowling again and if I should change my style at all ?

I bowled the Gympie Grand Slam 9 days after a bilateral inguinal hernia repair. I was ok

Roy is right, I wouldn't even attempt to bowl after surgery until I had my Doctors clearance to do so. the last thing you want to do, is aggravate it, especially a hernia. Not something you should muck around with. When you do start bowling again, ease back into it, don't go full on, your body will thank you in the long run.
