Are they going to be recovered?

Looks like the site has crashed (someone dropped the ball ? ).. and they can only restore the old data (2 day old) from backup -

Yes, there was a corruption of the file system on the server, and could not be recovered. So the site has had to be restored from backups, and unfortunately we have lost some posts.

I've been told this new server should be fine, and hopefully we will have no troubles from here on in.
