We went to see Billy Joel lastnight 21/11/06 at the Entertainment Centre and have to say he was totally unbelievable. He did not have a support act and there was no intermission. He was full on entertainment for 2 & 1/2 hours....

Did anybody else go to see him and was your experience as enjoyable as ours.

He is at the Entertainment Centre on Thursday night 23/11/06 and we'd pay the $380.00 to go see him again. (If we could get the same seats)

Absolutely fan freakin tastic performer and a very funny and animated man also

My family and I are going to see him at the Thursday concert - I've heard from a few that have gone that he was excellent, so it should be good. I'm looking forward to it.

I went to his first Melbourne concert at Rod Laver. He was the first person I've ever seen in concert - and what a concert. An amazing entertainer, the best birthday present I could have asked for.

Reggae, did Billy play Goodnight Saigon, or The Night is Still Young at your concert? These were the only two hits that were missing from his gig the night I went. Did you get Chainsaw sing a song?

Hey Craig,

Billy Joel was a birthday present also (for Brad)
He didn't sing either of those songs at our concert and he gave the audience a choice between "Honesty" & "Just the way you are" the crowd chose "Just the way you are" and Billy opened the song with "Good, cause I didn't want to sing honesty. Although all my work in honest and a lot of the time based on truth, Honesty is bull**** from beginning to end"

We were so impressed with his constant interaction with the audience and he is a very funny man. We had smiles on our face all night and were still talking about it a 2am!!!!

And

Yes we did have a performance from "Chainsaw" he did Highway to Hell and the whole centre was on their feet singing and dancing. Billy ran around the stage playing guitar throughout this performance.

It was certainly worth the money and the experience will stay with us for a long time. We bought his tour edition CD and listen to that every day on the way to work and we both say "Do you remember when he did this song or this song was awesome"

We also liked the rap song he did too that was cool and he closed the show with "Uptown Girl" then he did "Walzting Matilda" and cut it off before the second verse and went straight into "Piano Man"

Hello :) It was really good yeah, very enjoyable. The guy is an amazing entertainer. Brought back a lot of memories of traveling to Cairns in the car as a younger tacker..

Well worth going!
