After 6 games Jason Belmonte is leading the 2004 mens division of the world cup averaging a massive 251 (with a high game of "only" 267 if you dont mind)

Keep it up Belmo. Nice bowling 1500 for 6. Like to see an Aussie sitting on top after first round of qualifying. Well for that matter after the whole event.

The second squad of men are bowling now. Check out the way the scoring is posted. After 2 games the leader the Italian is listed as being -710 though he shot 501 for his first two. Listed in 47th behind lowest bowlers from the first squad. Makes it hard to follow as you have to scroll down to see who sits where between the two squads as the second one progresses.

Seems they start at -1200 in the red and have to get back to zero and then into the black.

Looks like it is going to be an interesting world cup to follow. At 5:20 the second mens squad had still only bowled 2 games and the womens results were yet to be posted.
