Palermaa, who leads the 2007 European rankings after winning two European Bowling Tour titles this season, added 1943 to his 1909 eight-game total from Day One for 3852 16-game total and an overall average of 240.75.

"I bet the top four overall will have bowled 25 shots over the first arrow, 25 shots over the second arrow, 25 shots over the third arrow, 25 shots over the fourth arrow, 25 shots over the fifth arrow and 25 shots over the sixth arrow," Hoffman said.
