Being a left handed stroker i have found the switch blade to be a very good versatile ball. They take up a heavy roll fairly early and hit hard with lots of drive. I have drilled mine with the pin underneath the ring finger and the cg kicked out to the right from my hand roughly 45 degrees...balance hole just under my pap. on a heavy oil it does tend to be a little skid prone but on a meduim to dryer type of lane they are right at home. Bowled a 299 game with it about two weeks after i drilled it and have had countless other high 200 games with it too.
For someone that gets a lot of hand or revs on a ball a switch blade could be a little vicious but that would depend entirely on how it was drilled too.
