Andrew McArthur Wins Cannington Classic

Andrew McArthur of the Northern Territory has just won the 2005 Cannington Classic here at AMF Cannington Lanes.

McArthur shot a high game of 279, followed by a 278 towards the end of matchplay to take the lead from local bowler Luke Dick. McArthur finished 732 over the card and takes home first prize, Dick finished 17 pins behind.

Third place was taken by Paul Trotter of Victoria, on +534.

Luke Dick bowled the ony 300 game of the tournament during the eleventh game, taking home an extra $300 for his efforts.

And also congrats to Luke on his 300, after his 299 last Cannington Cup, you'd expect something huge, well done

Congrats to Luke for his 2nd Place (2 yrs running, maybe next year mate) and for his 300 game - this game was after a run of 268 & 253 to make a creditable 821
