What are peoples views on what happend. Do you think that the 7 teams were right to pull out. In my opion this was just another way Ferrari could control F1 more and probably win the race.

I also thought it was funny that Shumacher tried to take out/ cut off his team mate when really there was no need, it would have been even funnier if they had collied and put them both out.

I thought it was the right thing to do, if there was such high concerns for the tyres blowing then it would be inhumane to send drivers out on them. As for the extra bit of track they wanted to put into place i thought that was utter rubbish, why change the track just cause one tyre manufacturer stuffed up.

In the end, of course it was a crap race but they couldnt of done anything else within the rules to get the other teams racing, i was disappointed.

the rule of 'one set of tyres per race' was put in place so that drivers wouldn't go so hard during practice, qualifying and the race itself, therefore resulting in a 'safer' race. in essence it comes down to the drivers to take it easier on the tyres.
